The international singer, musician and composer Eric Rylee was born on
March 16, 1985 in Großburgwedel, Germany near the city of Hanover and grew up in the community of Wedemark, which belongs to the district of Hanover, capital of Lower Saxony. As he felt attracted to artistry, he started a vocational training as a media designer after leaving school in 2002. At this time, however, he discovered that he could realize his affection for arts even better by singing than in graphic design.
His passion for music awoke and he began to take singing lessons. After having taken private lessons in Hanover for some time, he took part in several workshops between 2003 and 2004, among others in Hamburg, Germany.
Together with some old and new friends, he founded his first band called "Nemesis", which had to be renamed twice due to legal reasons – first into "Straight Ahead" and finally into "No Track Down" (NTD). Eric filled in the place at the microphone. In the beginning, the band made its appearances with different cover songs. Later on, Eric Rylee started to write lyrics for the band and for himself, and together they worked out their own melodies.
In order to successfully get started in the music business, Eric left the band in 2006 and went back to Hamburg. As one of three students in his generation, he started a challenging singing education at the officially recognized "SoYA" (Studio of Youngs Artists) Academy, where he was trained by internationally active instructors. Together with his fellow students from Nuremberg and Munich, he was chosen in a severe selection procedure from approx. 150 applicants.
At the same time, he called the attention of a producer’s team in Bremen, Germany. Uwe Friedrich and Gerry Williams started to work with Eric. (Gerry Williams became internationally famous with the Gold and Platin award Band "Eruption", which achieved fame with hits like "I Can’t Stand The Rain" or "One Way Ticket".) The results of this cooperation were some marvelous songs as well as the birth of a new Label: PLATINA-MUSIC, which was founded in February 2008.
After obtaining an excellent result in his final examination in March 2008, Eric moved to Bremen to where started a successfully firm collaboration with Platina-Music.
His debut single "Long Ago..." was broadcasted for more than half a year several times a day on TV and managed to achieve the first place of the "iMusic 1" charts. Afterwards, the song remained continuously in second place. In November 2009, Eric released his first Album "Supernatural", which filled his fans with enthusiasm worldwide
In March 2011, Eric had his first performance on stage with Mehrzad Marashi (German Idol 2010). After this experience, both worked together in the studio a bit. ...
